In an effort to continue provide support and education opportunities for our parents, FSA MS and ES will be hosting a parent seminar featuring, Joe Bruzzese, author of the book, A Parent's Guide to the Middle School Years.

Concerns about homework, social issues, sexuality, technology, and emotional health confront parents earlier than they would like or expect, leaving many of them feeling lost and overwhelmed. Yet middle school can (and should) be a time of positive transformation—an exciting opportunity where children gain independence, parents become supportive coaches, and a rewarding new bond is formed.

November 2, 2011 was an unforgettable day for the students, faculty, administration and parents of Fulton Science Academy Middle School. In recognition of their 2011 National Blue Ribbon School Award, FSA MS held an exciting celebration to honor their student body and the entire school community for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
The Blue Ribbon award is the highest honor the U.S. Department of Education bestows upon individual schools. The school is the first charter school ever in the state of Georgia to receive this prestigious national award. This achievement was based on FSA students testing among the highest performing schools in Georgia on state assessments in reading/language arts and mathematics.
